Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. Her career began as a supporting role in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the FX series Dirt the actress played Willa McPherson, a reporter. She also appeared in the supporting role on the short-lived series The Ex List. She starred as a young Moira O'Hara on the first season of FX's American Horror Story, and as Kaylee in the third season. She was Jessie Anderson's character in the AMC series The Walking Dead. Sophie was her role in the NBC show This Is Us. She also voices a variety of characters in Family Guy's animated comedy series. She is currently the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe who is the main character of Netflix's show Virgin River. Breckenridge grew up in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10, when her mother and her moved to California [1The couple lived there for a while before moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 years old when she first began to pursue an interest in acting, photography and singing. At the age of 15, she relocated with her mom back to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.
